The
founder of Catch the Wave Ministries, Joy, is a writer who spends a
great deal of time traveling and building sustainable projects
into third world ministries. It is imperative that the nations
are able to sustain their ministries. When the doors to a nation
closes the work must continue. As a ghost writer she gives
people the opportunity to have their story told in a way that
provides them a tool for their ministry work. Each believer has
a testimony that should be share as we overcome also by the word
of our testimony. She also provides opportunities on this website for
others to develop their own ministry in a published manner that
their other wised would not financially be able to do. She
believes in providing access to the body of Jesus so that it can
move forward with integrity and hope in succeeding.
Joy has a
BA in Theology and Psychology and a MA in Health Service
Management.
She has been a Christian from the age of 16
and involved in many types of ministries over the course of
her Christian walk: these include short-term mission trips to
Peru, Hawaii, Israel, Mexico, Kenya, Malawi, Burundi, Rwanda,
Uganda, Republic of S. Sudan, Barbados, Grenada, Carricou, St. Lucia, St. Vincent,
Bequia, China. She also ministers in prisons
in: New Mexico, Texas, Hawaii and Juarez Mexico. Other
ministries includes visiting the sick, street evangelism at home
and abroad, volunteering in homeless shelters in New Mexico,
California and Hawaii, serving in soup kitchens abroad and at
home, ministering to prostitutes in Israel, distributing:
clothing, food and toys to the needy at home and abroad,

in writing their testimonies for publication among other things.
She has taught all age groups in Sunday school, preached, and
has also been the director of several youth groups over the
years. Joy’s passion has always been evangelism.
The
founder
firmly believes that It is imperative that the believer do not
forsake the great commission. If the nominal Christian would
spend as little time in the field as they do in the church, they
could win their families to Christ. By the same token, if the
nominal Christian would dedicate more time pursuing the
lost, we could win our streets to the Lord. Moreover, if we
could see the lost souls of this world in the flames of hell, we
could win our communities to Christ, and thus the world.
Currently,
she is traveling on ministry (checkout the Travel Journals).
Books and CDs are available on the
