The Africa Student Fund Project has been started to give aid to bright but disadvantaged children/students in African societies.

 Targeted classes of children/students are:

1        Kept orphans whose parent died of AIDS

2        Children from irresponsible parenthood

3        Children from single parenthood families

4        Children from extremely poor families

5        Children from war torn societies, countries e.g. Rwanda, Congo, Sudan etc.

This project is designed to provide Africa with individual who can one day give Africa an African solution to its problems. The sponsored successful students will help other disadvantaged students once they graduate and secure gainful employment which will eventually eliminate the need to solicit funding outside of the African community. This is deemed to be an African project helping Africans to improve their societies. The gift of education helps Africa in many ways and it is a gift that keeps on giving for years to come. Underdeveloped countries need educated individuals who are able to bring that nation into a state of economic growth, technological advancement among other things. We are hoping that this project will produce some of Africa future brightest stars and individuals who can bring change about in every facet of society education, health care, technology, housing, construction etc. It is our hope that the project will provide funds for current and future students until the project is able to sustain itself.

The goal of the project is to assist with tuition for students who apply for aid and meet any of the criterions above. The second part is to seek out bright students who excel in math and science and provide them with scholarship funds and hopefully couple the assistance with mentoring.

If you are interesting in contributing to this fund please click on the donate button and send an email to info@catchthewaveministries.com stating who you are supporting. Donation is to the CTWM PayPal account with either your PayPal or a credit card donation. Even when PayPal takes out a fee CTWM puts it back so 100% of your donation is contributed.

Student fees WILL be paid by CTWM directly to the schools. Please do not send funds any where else as there are procedures in place in Kenya where funds can be paid directly to the bank avoiding many fees and others handling the funds.

What is unique about this project is that sponsors are not spending years contributing to a child with no end in sight. You can contribute a years school fees, a terms school fees, or fees for the entire academic life of the student. You can sponsor students in primary school only or in high school or university specifically. it is up to you how and whom you desire to support based on your economic circumstances. You are also encouraged to visit the students you sponsor to see how they are doing.
