Pastor Caleb Osunga works with other
pastors to evangelize Nairobi. Much of the work is being done in
Nairobi's slum areas that are hungry for the gospel. The
hearts are receptive but the laborers are few. The
congregations affiliated with him actively participate
in door-to-door evangelism and
there is marked growth in each congregation.

In Nairobi we are good and my family are also
good.
We met with pastors in August 2009 and we did evangelism
(visiting door-to-door), unfortunately we did not manage to
prepare tracks otherwise the meeting was so good.
The pastors I was with at that time were about eight.
Please keep pastor Caleb and his family in
your prayers. His wife Hilda has lost both her youngest and
eldest sister with in a few months. Tracts are inexpensive to
print in Kenya. If you have a heart to do so, please contact
Pastor Caleb via email about purchasing tracts for him. You can
send him money via Western Union to purchase tracts. (Joy CTWM)

Report
God is great, He has kept us
good and I thank Him for His faithfulness. We are on the move as
per the teachings you left us with in Kenya. We have set up a
date to meet with pastors from various churches to start what
you had advised us to do (helping each other build up their
specific congregations by evangelizing in each area and taking
care of the basis needs of the people we encounter). The venue
for the meeting will be at Mathare Church (in the Mathare slums)
as from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The theme or agenda for the meeting
will be to baptize those who got saved and to see how we can
feed the children that God has blessed us with.
We shall also meet on August 21th
2009 through August 23rd 2009 at Ngong Church in
Nairobi. This is the church where the 25 members who desires to
join our work in evangelism are located at. We shall be joined
by 8 churches for the purpose of carrying out door-to-door
evangelism. If God will do miracles, we will print many more
tracts.
Joan’s picture in her school
uniform - she is the tallest girl standing on the right. She’s
coping and doing well. We changed from the first school
because of the demands and difficulties of transport and time.
Her new school is BRIDGEWAY SEC. SCHOOL. She‘s grateful.

Thank
you and may God bless you! |
