Not all receipts are posted, some were lost
in the process of travelling and often cash was used or many
business in Africa do not give receipts. Others will be posted
later. Even though 95% or more of the funds used were from my
own personal funds I have posted or will post receipts for all
fund raised and donated by others. It is important for any
ministry to show integrity with what they have or is doing. Even
though I am now at home I still have several commitments I have
made that must be completed at the due time in Africa. I have
offered to
pay for a mission trip in August for Pastor
Titus and Evangelist Will from Burundi to go to several nations
to teach on how to evangelize Muslims. I have also committed to
paying the high school fees for Joan Atiendo Ondiala for the
next 4 years - the first years has already been paid. I have
offered to pay the entrance fee for Olive in Rwanda for the
university if she gains entrance and I have committed to
purchase glasses for a 12 year old in Masielo, Kenya. I will not
refuse any assistance in any of these endeavors.
There are many receipts for cost of food and
so on that simply can't be posted because of the enormity of
them. I try to post the ones that are more significant. All the
while in Africa I did not spend any money on myself such as
buying souvenirs and so on until the last few days in Kenya when
I bought some things for the people at home who have been a
blessing in my life like my family. Several pastor's and their
wives gave me gifts of appreciation and those are my true
souvenirs. The only thing I returned home with that I took to
Africa were the clothes on my back and one suitcase. I left my
laptop, my camera, a MP3 player, a suitcase and all essential
items for travel many of which have been with me on other trips.
If I can do this so can you. If you give out of your want like
the widow who gave her mites you will never want for anything. I
know, I am living proof. Before leaving for Africa David Agreed
to house me and feed me and I agreed to pay all expenses for our
travel to other nations. I said I would bring to Africa baby
clothes and I did for them. I said I would leave all I brought
to Africa in Africa and I did. I said I would feed the hungry
and clothe the naked and I did. My mission trip in Africa did
not come with sightseeing tours and visitations to tourist
sights or anything like that. I worked from the first day of
arriving in Africa up to the last day. Even my days of rest was
used to update this website. This website is the sum of all my
receipts. We must live by example.
